The Dutch text is the binding version until a separate legal review. This translation is only a reading aid.

Who is responsible

Local Planner (localplanner.eu) is offered by ComputeHub B.V., which is responsible for the processing of your data. Send privacy questions to info@localplanner.eu.

The website and the planner without an account

On this website we set one functional cookie, taal, only when you choose a language yourself or open a localised page. It remembers your language preference for localplanner.eu. We do not use analytics or advertising services, and we do not load content from other websites.

The planner stores your projects in your own browser (IndexedDB and localStorage) or, in the Windows and Android apps, on your device. Without an account, no project content goes to our server. Exports to PDF, CSV or .lpplan are made on your own device.

Like every web server, our hosting environment records technical data with each request: IP address, time, requested address and browser data. That is needed to keep the service safe and available (legitimate interest). These logs are kept for 30 days.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email address, the subject and your message so that we can reply. You receive an acknowledgement at the address you enter, and we receive the same message. We keep it until we delete it in administration. Do not enter passwords or other secrets. The form is limited in how often it can be sent from the same address or email address, so that it cannot be used as a spam channel.

With an account

An account is optional. Anyone can create an account. With an account we process, in order to provide the service (performance of the contract):

  • Account data: your email address and your password. We store the password only as a hash that cannot be reversed (scrypt), never in readable form.
  • Workspaces: the name of your workspaces and who is a member.
  • Projects: the content you enter yourself, such as tasks, the plan and people with contact details. On every save we keep the previous version, so that work is not lost when changes happen at the same time. A deleted project is marked as deleted and is then no longer visible. Policy: old project versions are kept for at most 90 days and then cleaned up automatically. Current behaviour: that automatic cleanup is not active yet; versions are kept longer until that implementation.
  • Email about your account: we email you only to confirm your email address and, when password reset is active, when you ask for it yourself. Such a link works once (reset: one hour, confirmation: 48 hours); we keep only a hash of it, with the time it was sent and used, and whether your address is confirmed. No newsletters or advertising. If reset is not active, you see that in the planner and you keep your password safe.
  • Sessions: a session stays valid for 30 days by default. Of that we keep only a hash of the session key, the creation and expiry time, and whether you have signed out.
  • Security: to limit password guessing, we use your IP address briefly in memory; it is not stored in the database. The API logs contain, per request, the IP address, the time and the requested address, but never passwords or session keys. They are kept for 30 days.
  • Payments (only when online payment is available for your workspace and you start a paid subscription): the owner’s email address, workspace identification, chosen plan, invoice address and — if you fill it in — VAT identification number. You enter card or bank details at Stripe; Local Planner does not store full payment details. We do store Stripe customer and subscription references (cus_… / sub_…) to link your access and any invoices, not invoice PDFs or amounts in our database.

With an account the planner sets one functional cookie, __Host-lp_session, to keep you signed in. It is only for this website, not readable by scripts, and is not used for anything else. The language preference taal is a separate functional cookie, as described above.

Who processes the data

The website, the planner and the database run in ComputeHub Datacentre. We do not sell data, we do not share it for marketing and we do not build profiles.

Payments: once online payment is active, payments and invoicing run through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited / affiliated entities). Stripe processes payment data according to the role Stripe uses for that; see Stripe’s privacy statement. Local Planner shares with Stripe only what is needed for Checkout and — where that is set up — VAT calculation, invoices and viewing the payment method. Where the planner offers an invoices page, it opens at Stripe; you cancel or withdraw a scheduled cancellation in Local Planner.

How long

We keep account data, workspaces and projects for as long as your account exists, with the exceptions below. If you delete your account:

  • all your sessions are ended and your email address and password hash are erased;
  • the names, the content and the version history of the projects in your workspaces are erased.

If you are a member of a workspace you share with others, you can delete your account only after that membership has ended; the projects in that workspace remain for the others. Contact us for that.

Project versions: we keep earlier versions of a plan so that simultaneous changes can be handled safely. Policy: at most 90 days, then cleanup. Current behaviour: that cleanup is not yet automatic; older versions may remain until the planned cleanup runs in production.

Administrator audit log: we keep security and administration events in the internal audit log for 180 days under policy. Cleanup can be done with an administrator command; automatic scheduling of that in production is not active yet.

Erased data disappears from backups within 30 days.

Web-server and API logs (without passwords or session keys) are kept for 30 days, as stated above for the website and for security.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and you can object. With an account you can, in the planner under Account, download your data and delete your account. For other requests email info@localplanner.eu; we reply within a month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If this statement changes, we update the version date at the top. We announce important changes for account holders in advance.
